The TYLER & TYLER Luxury Men's Lapel Chain Red is handcrafted in Birmingham, England, die-struck, hand-enamelled and hand-finished, using the same manufacturing techniques we have employed since 1908.

The lapel chain has a fascinating history. Originally worn by gentlemen to hold their pocket watches, first from the waistcoat button hole and later, as waistcoats fell from fashion in the mid-19th century, from the lapel button hole of the blazer or jacket. A common accessory of British Military Officers in the Great War, today the pocket watch is replaced by a beautifully crafted charm, which sits elegantly in the breast pocket while the other end clips to the lapel button hole.

The Red charm is bold, confident and unmistakably British. A colour that has long represented passion, courage and heritage, it makes for a striking and characterful finishing touch on any blazer or jacket.

Chain length: 25cm. Material: Brass and Stainless Steel. Supplied in a TYLER & TYLER presentation box, making this an ideal luxury gift for the discerning gentleman.
